Fabrizio Tassinari and Pawel Swieboda write in E!Sharp on the case of Poland

As the so-called “Arab spring” turn into a political hot phase of transition in countries ranging from Tunisia, Egypt to Libya, European governments and institutions interrogate themselves of what kind of support they will be able to provide at a time of growing economic uncertainty and fear of migrants.

Senior Researcher Fabrizio Tassinari and Pawel Swieboda, President of DemosEuropa in Warsaw argue in E!Sharp magazine that the case of the Polish EU presidency may be instructive of the kind of enlightened self-interest sorely needed in EU foreign policy.
