EU External Relations
The focus on EU foreign policy has grown stronger since the Lisbon treaty, with the aspiration of Europe speaking with “one voice” on issues of foreign and security policy. Recent developments, including the Trump presidency, show the potential as well as the continuing limitations of EU foreign policy coordination.
