Studier af udenrigspolitik giver det overordnede billede af staters placering overfor omverdenen. Et vigtigt emne er at geopolitik er tilbage. Hvad er fx forskellen på hvordan Tyskland og Danmark prioriterer forholdet til Rusland og hvilken vægt USA's synspunkt får? Og vigtigst: hvordan kan forskellene forklares?

    Free Association i Grønland vil kræve svære valg

    Det forfatningsudkast, den grønlandske forfatningskommission fremlagde 28. april 2023 nævner ikke eksplicit ’Free Association’. Men i bemærkningerne til §44 åbnes for suverænitets-afgivelse ikke bare til internationale organisationer, men også til andre stater for eksempel inden for rammen af en ’Free Association’. Og §46 beskriver mulighed – men også begrænsninger – for samarbejde om sikkerheds- og forsvarspolitik.
